This package provides an easy method to replace the default wallpapers
for KDE's Weather Wallpaper plugin, as well as change them quickly. Instead
of selecting wallpapers one at a time in the dialog (and often not being able to
use your own pictures!), this technique will change them all at once simply by
editing one file.
1. Extract the containing folder and place it in a convenient location, such
as in your Pictures folder.
2. Ensure you have the KDE Weather Wallpaper plugin installed, and set it as
your background and enter your preferred location.
3. Open the text file ~/.kde(4)/share/config/plasma-desktop-appletsrc.
Find the section labeled:
And replace these lines after changing the pictures' paths as necessary:
4. Logout and back in, and your wallpapers should now appear.
Finally, if you want to change any of the pictures, simply replace it so
the file name is the same. To apply the rounded corners to your new
wallpaper. resize your image to 1920x1080 in your favorite image editor
(like GIMP) and add the mask.png as a new layer.
